Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) is a self-assessment and recognition program to integrate and pursue improvement and performance excellence to various organizations in the country. This framework is a product of Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Program, which is managed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). PQC evaluation is carefully executed through best, most cost-effective and most comprehensive performance assessment.
DTI Undersecretary Ponciano C. Manalo, Jr. delivered the Keynote Speech in behalf of representing DTI Secretary Gregory L. Domingo commended the PQC Awardees who have excelled in their respective businesses and congratulated as he gave the trophies for the PQC awardees.
Enchanted Kingdom’s Chief Operating Officer Dr. Cynthia Romero-Mamon together with EK Executive Committee received the award to DTI, the PQC evaluators and assessors giving Enchanted Kingdom the recognition.
In her presentation, Dr. Cynthia Mamon shared the organization’s quality journey and best practices to inspire other businesses in providing total quality management. “We’re very proud to say, that as far as 2015 Travelers’ Choice, Enchanted Kingdom is on the top 24 Best Amusement Parks in Asia,” she humbly said.
This honorary distinction is another milestone for the Philippines’ iconic theme park since Enchanted Kingdom will be celebrating its 20 magical years this October. Through this PQC award, Enchanted Kingdom assures its guests that Enchanted Kingdom organization continues to aspire to be world-class in its operations practicing the company values such as Love of God, Innovativeness, Respect, Integrity, Safety and Fun.
